Embroidery Project

What is the issue?

Many refugee women face challenges in finding sustainable livelihood opportunities due to displacement and limited access to employment. These women possess valuable skills, such as embroidery, but often lack platforms to utilize and further develop these talents. Economic empowerment is crucial for these women to support themselves and their families amidst challenging circumstances.

What the Initiative Proposes:

The Embroidery Project addresses these challenges by empowering refugee women through the enhancement and utilization of their embroidery skills. This initiative provides training and resources to these women, enabling them to create a stunning range of high-quality embroidered products. Designed by artists and crafted by skilled artisans, these products not only showcase the talent and craftsmanship of refugee women but also provide them with a sustainable source of income. By promoting their artistic skills and entrepreneurship, the project empowers refugee women to achieve financial independence and build a better future for themselves and their communities.
