Adopt A Family

What is the issue?
Many refugees flee their homes under extreme trauma and fear, leaving behind their livelihoods and possessions. As they cross the Wagah border into Bharat, they require immediate care and sustained support to transition into a stable, self-sufficient life. By offering a welcoming environment and the means to rebuild, this initiative represents a compassionate humanitarian effort to restore dignity and provide hope.
What is the objective?
To provide immediate and sustained support to refugee families crossing borders, enabling them to rebuild their lives with essential resources such as travel assistance, housing, and food security, while also laying the foundation for their independence and integration into their new environment.
Why it matters?
The "Adopt a Displaced Family" initiative is a heartfelt endeavor under the Refugee Aid Project (RAP), dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of displaced Hindu and Sikh families seeking refuge and a fresh start in Bharat. This program is designed to create a direct connection between compassionate individuals, organizations, and refugee families in dire need, fostering hope, dignity, and self-reliance.
